Pacifica Montessori Inc., Culver City

Our Culver City site provides a happy, peaceful learning environment for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary aged children. It is part of the Heather Village Condominium, a family-oriented complex built with off-street walkways and a school as part of the original design. We are proud to have always served a diverse population of families; we feel that an excellent Montessori education should be open to more than the wealthiest. We currently enroll 72 students here. Pacifica Montessori School was established by Stephen Call and Claire Gerard in 1982. Then in 1987, Stephen and Claire opened a second Pacifica Montessori School in Mar Vista, but after 26 happy years had to close their Mar Vista site due to loss of their lease. Prior to her retirement, Claire Gerard sold her share of the school to Stephen and Jennifer Call; they currently oversee the Culver City location.
