Northwest Suburban Day Care Center, Des Plaines

Northwest Suburban Day Care Center is a center in Des Plaines, IL. The Northwest Suburban Day Care Center was established in 1970 to provide an affordable, full day pre-school program to low income families. We are a not-for-profit organization which offers subsidized care to 100\% of the families enrolled. With the support of the IDHS Child Care Assistance Program, our affordable fees are calculated according to income and family size. Parents are required to be working full time or going to school. We are licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services to provide care for 49 children from 15 months to five years of age. Our entire staff is DCFS qualified and required to attend annual CPR and First Aid training. In addition each staff member undergoes a background check and fingerprinting through the State of Illinois. Our secure environment includes a Security Entry Control System, fire alarm system directly connected to the City of Des Plaines, and a fenced in playground. We care for children as young as 15 months through 5 years old. We offer preschool and full time child care. We provide meals. At a minimum, our teachers have an Associate's degree.
