About Me:
Welcome to Skyline Little Children's Place, my small home-based daycare and preschool in Falls Church, VA! I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have a decade of experience in child care and early childhood education. I worked at another licensed child care center for 10 years, but I prefer the intimate environment of a small program, so I decided to open my own daycare!
I run a lovely, intimate family child care program and will care for a maximum of 4 children, so you can be sure that your little one will get plenty of attention. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also CPR and First-aid certified. I’m a mother of 3 myself, so I can relate to your needs when it comes to finding a quality, yet affordable daycare.
Program Information:
My hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages between 2 weeks and 13 years old including children with special needs); my goal is to be flexible, so that families can have peace of mind when they need to work.
If needed, I also provide weekend care on Saturdays and Sundays (please inquire to ask about additional tuition for weekend care). Drop-in care is also available for your occasional needs. All children attending to my program are served with lunch and snacks (already included in the tuition).
Philosophy:
Children learn best through play, so I decided to follow the Play-based learning principles. In addition to English, I also speak Pashto and Urdu and at your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages. If weather permits, I take my little students to the community playground so they can have fun during our outdoor playtime.
Jefferson Little Kids Playhouse is located in the Skyline Towers apartment complex in the Bailey's Crossroads area of Falls Church, VA. I’m right off Leesburg Pike (route 7), near Target and Leesburg Pike Plaza. Your daily commute will be convenient since my home is a few minutes’ drive from the I-66.

She is so kind and caring! I cannot recommend her enough! My toddler has such a good time there, and I feel so reassured when he is there that nothing is going to happen to him. I have no issues dropping him off, he walks right in without me having to convince him, and he's always so happy and smiling when I pick him up. She has been instrumental to keeping a consistent routine with my son.

We first put our baby in her wonderful care at 3 months old and as first time parents, she has been so helpful making this transition back to work as easy as possible.

our family is so grateful to our babysitter. she’s very flexible even when we had last minute changes due to our crazy work hours. my about 3 mos old baby gets her usual schedule at home and you can tell she takes good care of her. she lets us know about her day and even washes her milk bottles. it is very comforting to know my baby is taken cere of while im at work. if i would need any assistance in the future i will contact this provider again.

I can't speak more highly of this provider and her family. they have been so accommodating despite my crazy work hours. My almost 7 month son gets so much out of his interactions at daycare and has become quite the socialite.
This provider makes the whole daycare experience seemless. She washes his clothes and keeps a set or two with her, she provides baby food and helped my son start solids.

The best and most important thing about this provider was that she clearly loved my child and treated him with tenderness and care that an infant needs. He smiled when I brought him there in the mornings and eagerly went to the provider. She gave me daily written reports about his activities and payed careful attention to his feeding and napping schedule. She listened to me and always tried to accommodate my preferences. A-home-away-from-home....I mean every word because it's almost like being there when I am not there. I have twins this provider care for and the only reason we left was because of the long distance from our home. I did not have any reason to complain. She is honest, caring and my girls love her.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this provider and her childcare program. She is loving,upbeat, attentive, and kind. My child and all the other kids that have been in her care, just adore her. Finding a place to care for your kids is one of the hardest things about being a working parents, but your mind can rest easy knowing they’re in loving, capable hands with this provider

This provider is an exceptionally caring person who takes the time to develop a personal relationship with each child she cares for. She is thoughtful and respectful in her interactions with children and parents and works hard to create a safe and fun atmosphere.
