Great Oak Square Children's Place, Falls Church

Hi parents, welcome to Great Oak Square Children's Place, my home-based daycare and preschool in Falls Church, VA. My child care facility is located in the Stafford Kelly community, in the Great Oak Square neighborhood. I’m located right off Annandale Rd and have easy access to major roads, making your commute very convenient: Hillwood Ave (route 338), S Washington St (US-29), and Arlington Blvd (US-50).

I’m the owner and main caregiver of this quality child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed provider with 24 years of professional experience and CPR & First-aid certifications. As a mom of 5, I can relate to your concerns when it comes to finding a nurturing and safe learning environment for your little one.

Great Oak Square Children's Place is open all throughout the year from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Before and after school care also both available for school-age kids, up to 12 years old (my home is close to Graham Road Elementary School and Timber Lane Elementary School). I offer full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 3 months and 5 years old. I’m part of the USDA Food Program, and I provide lunch and snacks to all children in my care (both meals are already included in the tuition). Due to possible allergies, I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment.

My daycare uses the Play-based teaching philosophy to make learning more fun. However, my young students learn more than just the ABCs. I teach manners and how to use magic words such as "please" and "thank you." They exercise and have outside play. I can also teach foreign languages such as Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish in addition to English (however, I don’t run a bilingual or language immersion daycare).
