Welcome to Southgate Bilingual Children's Place, a lovely place for children! Our home-based daycare and preschool is located in the Southgate neighborhood in Falls Church, VA. We’re just a minute drive away from Annandale Rd (route 649) and Hillwood Ave (route 338). Your commute everyday commute to work will be very convenient since I have easy access to S Washington St (US-29), Arlington Blvd (US-50), and E Broad St (route 7). I’m the owner and lead teacher of this licensed child care and early childhood education facility. I’m a professional caregiver with 10 years of experience and I hold an Associate's Degree in Child Development. I’m CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained so I can administer medication to all kids in our care. I run my family child care program with my assistant who is a mom and has 5 years of experience.

Southgate Bilingual Children's Place is a bilingual Spanish daycare program. We teach our students the Spanish language in addition to English, which is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual at a young age. Our program also follows the Play-based learning approach that allows children to learn through play and educational activities. We engage them in daily activities such as arts & crafts, learning shapes, cutting and pasting, painting, drawing, singing, dancing, counting numbers, singing alphabets, rhymes, shapes, outdoor playtime, and we play outside for an hour everyday if the weather permits. My daycare offers a stimulating environment -- it is packed with wall decor, learning posters, and educational charts. I also have age-appropriate toys and learning activity sets for infants and toddlers with blocks, puzzles, and other toys that encourage memory and motor development.

We’re open all throughout the year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Full-time and part-time care are both available for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I’m part of the USDA Food Program and I serve fresh food everyday (lunch and snacks are both included in the tuition). In the summer, we offer a fun summer camp program. If you prefer, we can arrange transportation for your child with an additional cost (please inquire to learn more).
