Welcome to Clover Ridge Kiddie Cove in Frederick, MD! Our licensed daycare is in the quiet neighborhood of Clover Ridge, right off Belford Drive. We’re near the intersection of Christopher’s Crossing and Opossumtown Pike, just three minutes from Route 15 (Catoctin Mountain Highway). This makes us a great choice for parents who commute in the area!

Hi parents! I’m the owner and primary caregiver at Clover Ridge Kiddie Cove. A little bit about me: I’m a mom of two and have a bachelor's degree in public health. With over six years of experience in child care and education, I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT). Taking care of children and supporting their development is something I’m truly passionate about. As a parent, I empathize with the need to find a safe and caring place for your children when you’re away. At my daycare, we provide a neat, clean, and home-like environment where your child’s safety, happiness, and growth are a priority!

We’re open year-round, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We care for infants (as young as newborn babies), toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We offer part-time, full-time, and after-school care. Snacks are provided, and we make sure they’re free of peanuts and tree nuts to keep kids with allergies safe. The cost of snacks is included in tuition!

Each day at Clover Ridge Kiddie Cove starts with warm greetings and a wellness check. If your child arrives early, they can have breakfast here. Once the children have been fed and energized, we will go outside, where they will be free to explore and play in our outdoor play area, within the safety of our fenced backyard. Children will then rest in our designated nap room before having their packed lunch. Afternoons are filled with fun learning activities like reading, writing, counting, and exploring the alphabet. We follow an academic curriculum tailored to each child’s needs. If you’d like your child to learn a new language, I speak Amharic and can teach it upon request.
