Welcome to Amberfield Educational Daycare, a home daycare and preschool located in the Amberfield neighborhood in Gaithersburg, MD. My child care facility is just right off Muddy Branch Rd and Great Seneca Hwy, between Darnestown Rd (route 28) and Washington National Pike (I-270). I am a mother of 2 with 14 years of teaching experience and a Master's degree in Early Education. My family child care program seeks to promote active engagement and self-directed learning, and we pay special attention to social and emotional competencies. Our program builds core skills through problem-solving, play, and group interaction in literacy, math, and science.

*Daycare's COVID procedures include washing toys at the end of every day that are placed into two bins. Deep cleaning the space professionally once a month. Every child’s temperature is checked at drop off and if they display any symptoms of illness, they have to be picked up by parents. They also wash hands frequently with alcohol-free soap.
