About Us: I would like to invite you to take a peek at Creative Explorers Child Care. This in-home daycare is in the center of Gaithersburg, close to the Kentland's, Quince Orchard Blvd, and on the borderline of Germantown. I am the director and infant & toddler teacher. My main priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow as an individual and prepare them for their next milestones. I have over ten years of experience working and volunteering in child care. I have all Maryland State requirements as well as I am Credentialed through the state of Maryland. Our preschool teacher has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently persuing her Bachelors. Our preschool teacher has worked in child care for over 7 years and has experience in Montessori, ABA, and Kindergarten Readiness. All our staff meet Maryland State requirements and more. CECC is opened Monday-Friday, 6:30 in the morning until 6:30 in the evening. We provide families with the flexibility of both full time and part time care for children six weeks until school-age. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided following Maryland State Dietary Plan. We are a tree nut free zone. At CECC, we used a MSDE center based curriculum; Creative Curriculum and also are a Spanish immersion program. We provide individual lesson plans per child to make sure they are engaged and learning at their own pace. At Creative Explorers, our mission is to provide a safe, secure and fun learning experience from infancy to school age and beyond. At CECC, we value that through all cultures and developmental areas, all children and families matter. Studies show that early childhood education plays an important factor in childhood development compared to babysitting in early stages of a child's life.
