I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I run an intimate, nurturing child care and early education program in a safe and loving environment. I’m a licensed provider with 13 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education. I’m also CPR & First-aid certified. I have a passion for taking care of children because I find it very fulfilling and they are fun to work with! There is so much to love about working with kids – you get a chance to witness them grow and develop their full potential, they always put a smile on your face, their energy is contagious, and the list goes on! As a mom myself, I know you’re nervous about leaving your child with someone you barely know, especially if you're a first-time parent. If you choose me, I’ll make sure to treat your children as if they were my own. I will make them feel at home, safe, and as if my daycare is the extension of their family.

My family child care and preschool program uses the Play-based teaching philosophy, which fosters learning through play. My daycare is a bilingual Spanish program, so I teach kids the Spanish language in addition to English. This is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to learn this beautiful language and become bilingual at a young age. My curriculum includes teaching shapes, colors, the alphabet, circle time, and writing. I also take the kids outside as much as possible when the weather is nice. My goal is to make sure that all kids in my care are prepared for school and that parents feel that their children are safe. My space is clean with modern decor and learning charts posted on the walls. I also have a library, large playsets, puzzles, and blocks.

I’m open year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I accept infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age kids up to 12 years old and I offer full-time and part-time care. I can also accommodate children with special needs. I prepare lunch and snacks for the kids, and these are both included in the tuition. My daycare is a tree-nut and peanut-free environment to prevent allergies.

Gunners View Children's Den is located in the Gunners View neighborhood, near Waring Station Park. I’m right off Waring Station Rd and Middlebrook Rd (near Fox Chapel Elementary School and Roberto Clemente Middle School), and just 3 minutes’ away from the I-270 Dwight D. Eisenhower Hwy.
