In my home, I will provide child-centered, play based learning experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. I believe play promotes key abilities to enable children to learn successfully by providing children many learning opportunities based on a child’s interest and individuality, helping them learn about themselves and the world. My hope is that we will continually work together, collaboratively, to promote your child’s success. Previous to child care, I was a teacher for eight years. During those eight years, I taught 5th, 4th, and most recently 3rd grade. My passion lies in teaching, and watching children explore and grow. My husband and I have two children of our own. Know that I will treat your child with respect as if they are a part of my family. I find wonder and awe in seeing children grow with grace and flow through developmental, emotional, cognitive, social, and physical domains/goals.
