SonShine Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Hagerstown, MD. Our family child care program is run by Karolyn Martin who has 40 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 8 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 5 years old. If needed, transportation can be arranged. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. We offer a play-based Montessori curriculum. At a minimum, our teachers have an Associate's degree. My grandson attended "school" with Ms. Karolyn the entire time he was with me, (7-8 months). He was 2 1/2 and absolutely loved it, every morning looked forward to going, was so happy everyday. Only due to his father moving away did we stop taking him here. My wish and prayer is for more space for Karolyn and her group of children.
