Welcome to Potomac Fairways Playhouse, my small family child care and preschool program in Herndon, VA. I’m located in the Potomac Fairways neighborhood, right off Herndon Pkwy and near Station Park. I also have easy access to Dranesville Rd and Sterling Rd, for an easier daily commute to work! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this intimate child care and early childhood education program. I’m a professional caregiver with 17 years of experience and before opening my own daycare, I worked for different licensed facilities. Like you, I’m also a parent, a mom to 3 children, so I understand your needs and concerns when it comes to finding high-quality and safe child care for your little one. I provide plenty of individualized attention to all kids in my care since I only accept a maximum of 4 kids. In addition to English, I speak German, as well as Hindi, Urdu and Persian. Upon your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages. Although my daycare is not a bilingual program, this is still an opportunity for your little one to become multilingual at a young age.

Potomac Fairways Playhouse is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time care for infants as young as 2 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I provide lunch and snacks to all kids in my care and these are already included in the tuition. My daycare is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to prevent any possible allergies. I follow the Play-based learning approach, which allows kids to learn best through play and education activities. i also have a preschool curriculum with daily activities such as writing and reading, to ensure that my students are ready for kindergarten. If the weather is nice, we go to my backyard playground where we spend our outdoor playtime. There’s also a community playground near my house.
