I was recommended Whitehurst Family Daycare through a friend and I am so glad with my choice. Elaine is absolutely wonderful and I feel at ease sending my child there as a first time mom. All of her children are polite and friendly.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with Ms. Elaine. She is a very loving, compassionate provider. She provides a wonderful, safe environment for my child and made me feel comfortable from the first moment I met her.

We absolutely love Ms. Elaine and her daycare! Our daughter, now 3 years old, has attended since 4 months old. She enjoys every single day at Ms. Elaine’s and we have enjoyed watching her thrive there. Ms. Elaine goes above and beyond for the children. We truly feel like part of the family.

Elaine is a loving provider. She loves the kids dearly. The children feel very comfortable with her. They are well taken care of. When I told my older child that he will be leaving Ms. Elaine's care, he broke down and cried. What more can you say about her service?

I absolutely love using Whitehurst Family Daycare! I am a first time mother, and I was a worry wart! But from day one in our interview, she made me feel so comfortable leaving my new baby with her. I have been using the Whitehurst Family Daycare for literally 10 years with my 4 different kids. The center is spotless (truly!) and well organized and Elaine, the primary caregiver is amazing. She is smart, thoughtful, diligent, playful, creative, nurturing, and most of all LOVING! Kelli (2.5 years old) loves Miss Elaine! They have morning circle time where they go over the day of the week, weather, etc. She has charts of colors, shapes, ABCs that the kids look at and point too. She has ample toys that she rotates so the children are never bored. They go outside when the weather is nice and will occasionally walk to the local playground. This review takes into consideration that there is only one "teacher" (Elaine) and that the use of a "curriculum" is loose as it is a home daycare, not a classroom.
Shannon and I agree that we could not have found someone better suited for Pamela due to a number of reasons, including:
