We focus on positive guidance in an educationally appropriate environment that fosters independence, creativity and acceptance of others. We incorporate our curriculum into our entire day and use activities and games to create 'teachable moments' that engage and inspire the children in our program. Our program offers 1/2 acre of fenced play area filled with shade trees for hours of active play and a large indoor space dedicated to the children. Our program is accredited by the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). I strive to incorporate developmentally appropriate practices in every aspect of our program. I am the sole caregiver and get to know each child, giving them the individualized care they deserve. We offer a kindergarten readiness program and work with families to insure kids are ready for school, not just intellectually, but emotionally and socially as well. Our tuition never increases during a child's time with us. Unlike most programs, we help families by keeping their rate the same for the duration of our childcare contract. Often times, we are able to offer care for new siblings of children already enrolled at the older child's rate. This could save families $500-$1200 per year in childcare costs. While it does impact our 'bottom line,' it is appreciated by the families we partner with.
