Hello parents, and welcome to Wellington Kids Playhouse, a licensed family daycare in Laurel, MD! We’re located in the Villages at Wellington community, just minutes from Laurel High School. Our convenient location offers easy access to I-95 and MD-198 (Sandy Spring Road), and we’re just off Cherry Lane, near Van Dusen Road.

We provide both full-time and part-time child care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our daycare is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We welcome infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, offering age-appropriate care and early learning opportunities. We provide peanut-free and tree-nut-free snacks as part of your child’s tuition, and proudly offer child care discounts for military families.

I’m the proud owner and primary caregiver at Wellington Kids Playhouse. I have over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. I'm certified in CPR, First Aid, and MAT (Medication Administration Training), so your child’s safety is always my top priority. My mission is to offer high-quality child care in Laurel where every child feels safe, nurtured, and excited to learn. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where children can grow, explore, and build meaningful connections with others, all while having fun along the way.

Our play-based preschool curriculum helps children develop essential skills through fun, engaging activities, including: * Circle Time: Group learning that supports communication, listening, and social development * Arts & Crafts: Hands-on creative projects that encourage imagination and fine motor development * Letters & Literacy: Fun activities that spark early reading and language skills We also prioritize health and cleanliness by sanitizing toys daily and encouraging frequent handwashing, especially before meals, after diaper changes, and during transitions between activities.
