St. Barnabas Preschool, Long Beach

St. Barnabas Preschool is an extension of our Elementary School. It is designed to prepare our students for the academic challenges of our Transitional-Kindergarten program. The curriculum is carefully planned to include an even balance of academics and active play. Religion and character development are important parts of our students’ development. Both Full and Part day options are available. Our mission at St. Barnabas School is to provide a meaningful Catholic education and promote academic excellence for each student. We create a nurturing, respectful environment with the highest level of integrity in order to enrich our students’ spiritual and social development. Our licensed Preschool is for children who are at least 3 1/2 years of age and are potty trained. The focus of our program is social skills and readiness for school and is available as a full or part day program. The full day is 7:50 am to 2:50 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:50 am to 12:30 pm on Friday. The half day is 7:50 am to 12:30 pm daily. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is for children who are 4 years old by September 1. It bridges the path between preschool and Kindergarten, providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Kindergarten standards. It is a full-day program (7:50 am to 2:50 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:50 am to 12:30 pm on Friday). St. Barnabas Preschool is a licensed child care center in Long Beach, CA with the license issued by the L. A. Day Care-East (33). We are a small center. Please email us for more information.
