Our mission – to provide high quality early care and education for young children of working parents – has remained virtually unchanged for more than a century. In fact, our mission has become all the more vital to the community we serve as the need for quality early education grows.
Our programming includes: NAEYC accredited centers, on-site early intervention program, early literacy, art, music, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) curriculum, low teacher child ratios, continuity of care practices, healthy connections and nutrition program, Stepping Stones Scholarships, parent engagement, and a formal professional development program for our staff. When children graduate LBDN we are confident the high quality early education received within our program has prepared them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
