Terrace Town Kiddie House, Lorton

Welcome to Terrace Town Kiddie House, my intimate in-home daycare and preschool in Lorton, VA. I’m located in the Terrace Town Homes of Gunston neighborhood, just a 2 minutes’ drive from Richmond Hwy (US-1). My home is also close to Lorton Rd (route 642) and Lorton Market St / Gunston Cove Rd (route 600), so your daily commute to work will be very convenient.

As a parent myself, I understand how stressful it is to leave your little one to someone else’s care while you’re away working. I run a small family child care program because I want every child to receive plenty of attention and care. I am a dedicated daycare provider holding a Master's Degree in Social Science, and my goal is to be a partner in your child’s growth and development. All of the children in my care are treated as if they were my own, ensuring their well-being!

Terrace Town Kiddie House is open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide both full-time and part-time care options, catering to infants as young as 6 weeks old, as well as toddlers and preschoolers through 5 years old. I also offer before and after school care for school-age children up to 12 years old (my home is close to Lorton Station Elementary School and Gunston Elementary School). I teach my young students ABCs, shapes, colors, animals, etc. They have outside play and water play when the weather permits, and they dance inside if they can't be outside. I also engage my little students in fun activities such as singing as well as arts and crafts. Peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks are already included in the tuition. In addition to English, I speak Urdu and upon request, I can teach your child this foreign language (my daycare is not a bilingual program though).
