Stephanie Raleigh is an Early Childhood Educator who has worked with children for the past seven years. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education as well as her Teaching Certificate from Santa Monica College with Highest Honors. After a fulfilling career in publishing in Germany, Stephanie moved to Cape Town, South Africa where she became involved in a charitable organization helping HIV/AIDS affected families and children setting up preschools and daycare centers for abandoned children and helping women establishing an income source through arts and crafts. After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, Stephanie became a full-time nanny -working for over two years for a family with two young boys ages 1.5 and 6 years. Soon after that, Stephanie began her professional career as a teacher in a bilingual preschool in Marina del Rey. Recognizing the need for bilingual education for German-American families, Stephanie started her own German ABC enrichment program in 2010. Since then she has been teaching reading and writing to children ages 5-10.
Acquiescing to many requests by parents whose children Stephanie has instructed over the past few years, this summer she has opened her own infant and toddler-learning center KinderHouse LA. Stephanie is eager to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of children. Currently, she continues her education at California State University, Northridge pursuing a degree in Child and Adolescent Development. Stephanie has truly become a children's advocate and understands how early life experiences shape children for the rest of their lives. Stephanie is an active member of the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) since 2010.
