Westside Jewish Community Center Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten offer an outstanding program for children ages two through five. Our programs integrate a developmental curriculum within a rich Judaic environment.
Our program provides development in four important areas; separation and the achievement of autonomy, language acquisition, communication skills and socialization. Activity centers provide for exploration and discovery in a non-competitive, nurturing environment. Daily activities include indoor/outdoor, quiet/active, teacher-directed/child directed and planned/emergent experiences. Classrooms are filled with hands-on-materials encouraging exploration and creativity. Our children are well prepared for Kindergarten and attend a variety of private and public schools, including magnets & charters.
