Currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary, Children's Circle Nursery School was founded in 1975 to unite children, parents, and staff in a community-based nursery school. For nearly four decades, the school has integrated children from many different ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. Our goals revolve around the concepts of progressive and developmental education.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
Children's Circle accepts children beginning at two-years, nine-months old. After reviewing educational literature over the last three decades, we are convinced that children belong in nursery school until they are between five-and-a-half and six-years old. This information is based on research studies conducted over time that we can share with you as your child approaches important developmental landmarks.
HOURS:
Children's Circle is open year round, with morning classes that meet Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am-12:15 pm, and an afternoon class that meets Monday through Thursday, from 1:00-4:15 pm. We also offer extended hours, Monday through Thursday, until 4:15 pm. Families can enroll their child for up to four afternoons of extended care a week.
