Lil' Darlin's Daycare, Manistee

Our daycare opened on November 5, 2010 and was founded by Sue LaPoint, a parent to 11 wonderful children. Sue, an accounting major and former bank customer service representative for 20 years, decided to open her daycare as a result of her passion and commitment to child care development, education and her natural love of children. Our daycare center focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child’s healthy development, self esteem and self confidence. While in our care, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities which promote all aspects of their development. These activities will range from things like reading, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, cooking, exploring the Manistee National Forest where we are located, growing a vegetable garden, field trips to various locations, and a Lil' Darlin's family picnic every summer.
