Thank you for your interest in First Baptist Learning Center. We believe that our outstanding program and staff are built on a solid foundation of excellence that has been represented by more than 40 years of educational service to the McKinney community. Our staff is carefully screened through a detailed interview process. All staff members are CPR/First Aid certified and FBI fingerprinted/background checked. Each staff member must attend 24 hours of continuing education classes yearly. A degreed teacher is placed in each Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom. Teachers plan intentional and purposeful activities and experiences that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of children and supports them where they are in their development. We use a play-based approach because children learn best by doing/playing and by taking initiative.
