Future Scholars Learning Center is now accepting applications for all ages. We strive to build confidence, teach independence and a love of learning through play.
Our educational programs encourage each child to learn at his or her own pace. We have a caring staff, total growth with a play based curriculum and a facility, which provides a happy and healthy environment.
Future Scholars programs feature a full day of developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that your child will enjoy. Whether infant, toddler or preschooler, our curriculum provides lessons that assist in developing the whole child.
We provide Quality Childcare and Nutritional meals. Future Scholars also provides a Before/After School Program and Transportation.

I have been in childcare for over 15 years and I love children, this is why I have opened Future Scholars Learning Center. I earned my Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Macomb Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Rochester College.
Assistant Director: Nichole Washington
I have had over 7 years of childcare experience and I feel like education is one of the most important aspect of a child's life. I have a Bachelor degree in Social work and have many courses in early childhood development. I am excited to start this new venture as an assistant director and am looking forward to working with your child.
Infant Teacher: Erika
I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelors degree in Human Services. I have many years of childcare experience with various ages groups.
Toddler Teacher: Kamisha
I have a Bachelors of Science in Child Development with an Infant/Toddler Concentration.I have several years experience in working with children with diverse learning styles & learning needs. I look forward to exposing your children to a variety of things that will help them learn, develop & grow.
Preschool Teacher: Amy
I graduated form Oakland University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I have worked with kids ages infant to 14 years old. I have worked in a private daycare as well as school daycare. My favorite thing about working with kids is watching them learn and grow. I have worked with kids for the past 10 years and I wouldn't change that for anything else. I look forward to getting to know the kids, family and staff more at Future Scholars.
We provide care for children 6 weeks-12 years. We use the Mother Goose Time Curriculum Standards. Mother Goose Time preschool curriculum supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in young children. Mother Goose follow the Experience Early Learning research-based set of 36 standards which connects to seven domains of learning, including second language acquisition. Mother Goose Time Curriculum intentionally integrates these skills into our lesson plans, learning tools and the objectives of discovery-based activities.
Infants 6 weeks-1 year
We strive to create a warm and nurturing environment for our infants. We utilize the Little Goose - for infant which offers daily opportunities to discover and explore. Little Goose Curriculum enhances a child's natural curiosity. Little Goose provides hands on activities your infant will enjoy. They will be creating art projects, coloring and working with their little hands to get those creative minds working.
Toddlers 1 year-2.5 years
Our toddlers will be learning through play and discovery. We utilize the Little Goose Curriculum for our toddlers and they will be learning how to become independent, but will also receive lots of love. They will be learning the basics; abc's, numbers and colors along with life skills such as; sharing, washing hands and using kind words.
Young Preschool 2.5 years-3 years
Children are preparing for entrance into the preschool room. The room is focused on creating more structure throughout the day by offering a variety of learning centers. Our curriculum uses discover and experience to support children’s development of essential preschool skills. The Mother Goose Curriculum will prepare children with early language, early literacy, mathematics, social and emotional, physical and cognitive skills necessary for success. Children are also encouraged to develop independent self help skills including toilet learning.
Preschool 3 years-5 years
Children learn through play and discovery. Our program provides activities that get their little minds wondering how things work. Preschoolers will also be using the Mother Goose Curriculum; which creatively weaves together art projects, music, storytelling, math games and science experiments around a monthly theme. They will begin putting letters together to create words. Children in this class will also be doing individualized class work.
School Age/Before and After School 6+
This program is offered to all children before/after school, summers and school breaks. If children have homework we will be able to assist them in completing it. We have a safe, fun and educational program for school-ages that give them the opportunities they need to succeed.
