The Children In the Shoe Child Care Center & Preschool, Olney

We follow the Creative Curriculum and are a play based facility. We ensure the children are very ready for kindergarten! We also work very hard on the children's Social Emotional skills helping them regulate their emotions and behavior. We are very family-oriented and it shows in our center and the teacher parent relationships. We provide the morning & afternoon snack and beverage and parents provide lunch. We have enrichment programs that are included in the tuition: Spanish, Jump Bunch, Folk Singer, Creative Movement class, & Yoga in the summer. We are also lucky to be able to over staff and have more teachers than what's required by the State. Stephanie Buckberg is the Administrative Director and has been with the center for 15 years. Linda Randall is the Program Director and has over 30 years of experience and Pam Collins is our Admin Asst. Our goal is to have children from infancy-preschool.
