Kids World Daycare, Palmdale

Kids’ World Daycare and Preschool was founded in Palmdale in 1995. It is family owned and its purpose is to provide high quality childcare services for children of this community. In 2007, we incorporated the preschool program for 4 year olds. The preschool program is founded by Los Angeles Universal Preschool (LAUP). LAUP is a non-profit organization founded by FIRST 5. The mission of LAUP is to provide a high quality preschool program for all the 4-year-old children of Los Angeles County regardless their family’s income. Kids’ World Daycare and Preschool uses the developmentally appropriate curriculum ‘The Creative Curriculum’ by Diane Trister Dodger. ‘The Creative Curriculum’ was created to facilitate and guide children in their learning, social, physical, emotional, and creativity areas with activities and experiences that are developmentally appropriate according to the age of the child. This curriculum covers math/science, language, music/movement, social/emotional, and physical skills with developmentally appropriate learning activities. These activities are designed to help children to develop as whole children and prepare them to be successful in their future education at an elementary level.
