Blessed Sacrament Children's Learning Center, Placentia

Blessed Sacrament operates a non-profit, full-day, child care and education center offering a developmental program for children age 2 through 5, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., twelve months a year. The center is staffed by about a dozen employees. Four of the six classes are housed in the new education building. Class time and outdoor activities offer a wide variety of age-appropriate experiences in areas of art, music, science, pre-reading, pre-math, language development, physical development, and social living. Schedules are flexible, allowing families to coordinate child care with work responsibilities. Families may choose 2, 3, or 5-day schedules. Half-day programs refer to the morning class time between 9 a.m. and noon; other programs, such as from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and full-day programs are also available. Emphasis will be placed on loving and nurturing each child as he or she is growing and developing cognitively, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
