Curriculum: At Les Petits we follow the Utah Early Childhood Education Core Standards guidelines, because we believe that they are comprehensive, inclusive and are developed with the realities of our State and City in mind. We are convinced that with our teachers’ knowledge and cultural diversity, we are capable of providing a broad and rich learning environment that will encourage our children to have an open and well-rounded mind with a lasting love of learning.
That is how we “make a difference, one child at a time”. It’s a reality we live each and every day at our daycare and now our new preschool. We are not just pretty pictures, and beautiful setups but honest philosophies: knowledge, respect and love of children and what we can help provide for them.
Facilities: We are bigger than a home daycare but smaller than a big preschool center. Which gives all of our caregivers and teachers one on one time with each child, we get to know each and everyone of them and treat them with the same love and affection as our own children. At the same time having the same benefits of service, tools, and space as a childcare & preschool center. Our facilities and materials are brand new and they will be continuously updated in order to make the care, education, and learning process of the children enjoyable, efficient, and productive.
Also, at our building we have a hospital-grade HVAC UV light air purification system. It combines a UV lamp with an ultra-efficient electrostatic filter in order to maximize the removal of particulate matter from the air, at the same time killing germs and bacteria, helping in the prevention of illnesses.
Teachers: Our Director, Gabriela Hartridge, is a Speech-Language Pathologist with Masters from the University of Buenos Aires - Argentina with more than 17 years of experience working with children.
