he Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for our program. Being a STARS participant means we are required to meet specific standards which are assessed on yearly basis. The standards address staff qualifications and professional development, the early learning program, partnerships with family and community, and leadership and management. Our teachers are professional educators whose training and credentials meet or exceed state standards and requirements. All of our daycare, preschool, and child care programs participate in Keystone STARS, a state-wide initiative of Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Child Development and Early Learning. Its objective is to support and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs in Pennsylvania. We are extremely proud to have achieved the maximum Star 4 Level!
