Welcome to Welsh Baby Academy in Rockville! Our home daycare is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and we provide child care for children from 4 months to 5 years old, in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. I have a Master's degree and 5 years of child care experience. Staff is also CPR and first-aid certified, as well as MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. As you work hard towards your baby’s brilliant future, we promise you excellent child care that is convenient for your family. Our program uses a play-based approach and offers an integrated preschool curriculum. We also don't believe in watching television, even for educational content, as we feel it will be a distraction for learners. Instead, we feel that children's learning environment should be structured and we keep our kids engaged with educational activities. We have age-appropriate books, games, puzzles, and many more fun activities to engage the kids. We have indoor and outdoor play areas, and offer daycare for a maximum of 8 children, so that we can provide individualized attention that infants and toddlers need. We also provide nutritional morning and afternoon snacks. Our COVID procedures include sanitizing and wiping down surfaces 3-4 times a day and helping each child to wash their hands after every activity. Welsh Baby Academy is located in Rockville, MD (near Welsh Park, just a few minutes from Montgomery College and Rockville Town Center, and the Rockville Metro Station).
