Welcome to Aspen Hill Park Playhouse in Rockville, our licensed home-based daycare and preschool. Our child care facility is nestled in Aspen Hill Park neighborhood, near Aspen Hill Rd and Parkland Dr. Were conveniently located for all commuters since we have easy access to all major roads such as Veirs Mill Rd (route 586) and Connecticut Ave (route 185). When you leave your children at my daycare, rest assured that I will take good care of your children like they are my own.

Im the owner and main caregiver and I have 25 years of professional experience. I run my daycare and preschool facility with my assistant who has 40 years of experience, and were both moms with CPR & First-aid certifications. We can also administer medications to all kids in our care since were M.A.T trained. Im also part of the Family Child Care Association of Montgomery County and continuously take related child care classes. I love kids, and working with them is very fulfilling. It feels incredible when you see each child grow and develop their valuable skills. My assistant and I are dedicated to providing nurturing care in a comfortable, loving, and stimulating learning environment. As mothers ourselves, we know youre concerned about leaving your child to someone but at our daycare, be assured that your little precious one is safe and secure at all times. We treat every child in our daycare as if they were our own :)

Aspen Hill Park Playhouse in Rockville uses multiple curriculums to benefit your childs learning. We use the Mother Goose Time Curriculum, Healthy Beginnings, and ABCMouse. At the same time, we follow the Play-based learning approach. Our program focuses on teaching our young students to respect one another, how to communicate, socialize, and solve problems. We also teach them letters and shapes, and our curriculum is themed by the seasons of the year. We incorporate age-appropriate and fun educational activities to their daily schedules such as puzzles & games, arts & crafts, books, music, adventures outside, projects to send home to parents, and much more! Our goal is to prepare the children for school at above-average levels. In addition to English, we can also teach your child the Tagalog and Spanish languages (however, we dont run a bilingual or full language immersion program).

Our daycare is open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer various flexible options to accommodate your child care needs such as full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 3 weeks and 5 years old. Were part of the USDA Food Program, and we provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all kids attending full-time (both included in the tuition). For school-age children up to 12 years old, we can offer before and after school care (were just 2 minutes drive away from Wheaton Elementary School). Our child care space is packed with fun learning activities and warm touches such as family or children photos, holiday cards, and artwork created by our students. We have a large tree house playset that kids love, as well as toys, trucks, puzzles and blocks for both infants and toddlers. We also have a circle time center where we have song and dance every morning, and a library of age-appriate books for children.
