Better Horizons Daycare, San Bernardino

Hi Everyone! I am a new childcare provider located in the bordeline of Loma Linda and San Bernardino. I am currently looking to enroll children ages 4 months - 12 years (limited spots per age group). I will be accepting cash, CCRC and working towards acquiring IRC services. Better Horizons will be open Monday to Friday 24 hours and available to take on both full time and part time clients. Provider Background: My name is Cynthia and I am 28 years old with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies Elementary Education. I have 8+ years of experience working with children - both in the school and in-home setting. The past 5 years I worked closely with children who are on the spectrum and/or had other developmental delays. I provided ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in the home, school and community setting. I also trained parents, school personnel and new hires in discrete trial therapy and behavior modification techniques. That being said, I am looking forward to providing an all inclusive, safe, and caring environment for all children to grow and develop throughout their most critical stage of their lives. With my background, I plan to run my daycare very similar to a school-like setting appropriate to each age and developmental stage. I have strived to transform my home to a place that will not only foster your children but will promote growth and encourage learning skills. At Better Horizons, we have a dedicated room for the children with lots of toys and activities that will work on both fine motor and gross motor skills. In addition, there is also a large paved front yard and grass backyard where the children can safely run around and play - both yards are gated and separated for safety measures. Better Horizons Daycare is located at an excellent spot as it is near multiple freeways (10 HWY, 215 HWY, and the 210 HWY). We are located .10 miles away from the 10 freeway near the Costco on Tippecanoe and less than 2 miles away from the Loma Linda University Hospital.
