KIDS FIRST LEARNING CENTER'S instructional program is based on the High/Scope curriculum, a child centered curriculum. It allows for children to create their own experiences through projects and play and at the right moment the teaching staff implements a learning experience. Children are encouraged to express self-reliance, make choices, initiate their own activities, and problem-solve. Staff provides children with developmentally appropriate work and play in an appealing and nurturing environment which is structured to best meet children's needs. On going assessment of each child's development, needs and interest continues throughout the year because their needs constantly change throughout the year. It is our sincere desire all experiences at the center are healthy, educational, safe, nurturing and loving for all the children.
