Connecticut Gardens Kiddie House is a licensed daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD. My home-based child care facility is nestled in the Connecticut Gardens, right off Veirs Mill Rd (route 586) and Connecticut Avenue (route 185). As a parent myself, I know the struggle you’re going through in finding the best child care and preschool for your little one. We only want nothing but the best for our child, right? I provide nurturing, high-quality care and early childhood education to help kids develop their learning competencies and valuable skills. Your little one is also safe under my care because I’m CPR & First-aid certified.

Connecticut Gardens Kiddie House uses the Mother Goose Curriculum and follows the Play-based learning approach to benefit your child’s learning. I engage my students in fun, educational activities such as arts & crafts. My curriculum also includes ABCs, colors, shapes, flash cards, tummy time, playing outside twice a day if the weather is nice, and learning about animals and planets. I teach my little students social development skills such as being brave, respectful, and kind. I pride myself on creating a fun, inviting, and stimulating environment for the kids. My walls are painted with bright colors and educational charts are posted everywhere. I also have lots of age-appropriate toys and learning materials. My nap room is separate from the play area to cut down on disturbing those who are sleeping.

My family child care program is open all year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, including children with special needs. Drop-in care is available for parents only looking for occasional care. I can also accommodate school-age kids up to 12 years old and offer before and after school care (my home is close to Highland Elementary School and Rockview Elementary School). I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment to prevent any possible allergies. I look forward to meeting you!
