Founded in 1977 as a ministry of Forcey Bible Church (FBC), Forcey Christian School began as a nursery school and kindergarten with three teachers and thirty students.
Between 1977 and 1982 FCS expanded into a complete elementary school.
The middle school program began as a separate school in 1995.
In July of 2008, the two schools merged into one entity. The middle school classes, as well as the kindergarten and preschool classes, moved into the newly constructed educational wing at FBC.
In 2013, Forcey Christian School received full accreditation from both the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association. The school has over 500 students from age three through eighth grade.
Having grown from its humble beginnings, the school now offers a robust program rivaling any in the area. In addition to the strong academic emphasis in the classroom, the school provides a variety of field trips and activities outside the normal routine to help students explore their gifts and talents.
