Message From The Owner
Hi parents! I'm the owner and main caregiver at Fran's Children's Place, and I love working with kids! I always maintain a good relationship with parents and do my best to accommodate their needs and concerns. One of my top priorities is to give parents peace of mind.
I have 30 years of child care and early childhood education experience. I hold a Child Development Associate's degree as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. I’m also CPR and First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your little one is safe and secure at all times.
Curriculum Information
I believe that learning should be fun, which is why I follow the Play-based learning approach. I observe my young students to see how they play, as it says a lot about how I could approach each one of them and their unique learning style.
I follow well-crafted lesson plans that include indoor and outdoor activities, art projects, music, reading, free play, etc. In addition to English, I speak Farsi and Persian fluently and upon your request, I can teach your child these foreign languages (my daycare is not a bilingual program though).
Program Details & Hours
Fran's Children's Place is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (we're open year-round, including in the summer). I provide full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 3 months and 5 years old, including children with special needs (children with language deficiency/disability, ADD, and ADHD). Our rates are affordable and we’re willing to work with your budget!
I participate in the USDA Food Program and I serve nutritious morning and afternoon snacks to all children in my care, and I can also provide lunch with an additional fee. Health and safety is very important to me and children never get sick in my care. I have high standards when it comes to cleanliness, washing hands, etc.
