Welcome to Lynbrook Little Playhouse in Springfield, VA! We're a licensed home-based daycare and preschool run by qualified, warm, and friendly early childhood professionals. Our childcare facility is right off Backlick Rd, near Lynbrook Elementary School. Our daycare is very accessible since we're near the I-95, I-495 and I-395 connector.

Dear parents, I'm the owner and main caregiver and I have 21 years of experience. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Education and I run my childcare and early childhood education program with my assistant. Were both moms and CPR and first-aid certified, as well as MAT trained. Our goal is to provide quality care and help parents in the area to have peace of mind while they are away from their precious little ones. At our daycare, we treat each child as if they were our own :)

Lynbrook Little Playhouse is open year-round between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. Were part of the USDA Food Program, and we serve meals to our young students (peanut-free lunch and snacks are both included in the tuition). Our program offers full-time for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the ages of 2 months and 5 years old, including children with special needs. For parents who are just looking for occasional childcare needs, drop-in care is an option.

We've designed a great curriculum, and have thoroughly outlined daily lesson plans for each one of our young students. It has been proven that children learn best through play, which is why we follow the Play-based learning approach. We have also created a unique preschool program with a combination of Montessori and Creative curriculum to ensure that her children are advanced when entering school. When you visit our facility, please ask about our children's projects and we'll be happy to show you a few! We use English as the main language to communicate with the kids but upon request, we can teach your little one Hindi/Urdu (note that our daycare is not a bilingual program). If weather permits, we can spend outdoor playtime at the playground in our fenced backyard. Our daycare is also part of the Virginia Preschool Initiative program, which supports quality early childhood education programs.

At our daycare, we always practice healthy habits to prevent any type of diseases caused by germs and viruses.
