Hello parents, and welcome to Timbers Kids Playhouse, my lovely in-home child care program in Springfield, Virginia. Located in The Timbers neighborhood, my facility is right off Hillside Rd, with easy access to Rolling Rd and Old Keene Mill Rd. Thank you for reading about me, let me explain why my daycare is a place where kids feel at home while they learn, play, and grow!

As a mother of two with 20 years of experience, I understand how important it is to find the right child care provider. I started my career as a nanny and absolutely loved taking care of little kids. It felt natural to expand my passion by opening my own licensed child care facility. My goal is to offer a warm, nurturing environment for your children. I speak English, Nepali, and Hindi, allowing me to connect with children from diverse backgrounds. I'm also certified in C.P.R and First Aid, so you can rest assured that your child's safety is my top priority. Working with parents is a key part of what I do. I enjoy speaking with you every day, discussing your expectations and sharing how your child's day went. Many families I've worked with over the years still keep in touch because we've built close connections. Being a critical part of your child's life is an honor and makes me very happy!

- Hours of operation: 6:00am to 6:00pm, providing long hours and flexibility for working parents. - Ages: 6 weeks to 12 years old, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age kids. - Programs: full-time care, part-time care for those who need child care only certain days as well as before & after school care or school-age children (I’m near Cardinal Forest Elementary School). - Meals: snacks and a nutritious homecooked lunch are included in the tuition.

At Timbers Kids Playhouse, I believe in creating a fun and happy environment where children can thrive every day. I follow the Play-Based learning approach so we spend quality time playing and engaging in activities that promote growth and development. While we have lots of fun, I also instill proper day-to-day routines to help children feel secure and confident. Personalized attention is important for me, so I get to know each child's strengths and weaknesses, focusing on their individual needs and wants. My goal is to offer a preschool experience that prepares children for the next steps in their education while making sure they feel loved and cared for!

The day begins with welcoming children and helping them adjust, followed by breakfast and handwashing. Activities include circle time with music and dance, followed by creative play such as blocks, puzzles or one of the many creative activity boxes we have. Children then enjoy outdoor time followed by hygiene routines and lunch. After lunch, children nap or enjoy quiet reading time, we all enjoy circle time and if the weather is nice, another outdoor play session. The day wraps up with free play and preparations for departure. I always end the day with a daily parent update at pick-up time. I can’t wait to meet you and your little ones!
