Welcome to Rolling Green Schoolhouse, our bilingual Spanish home daycare and preschool in Springfield, VA. We are located in the Rolling Green neighborhood, right off Barta Rd and Rolling Rd (route 638). Our child care facility is very accessible to all commuters since we're right next to Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286) and a few minutes' drive from the I-95 Henry G. Shirley Memorial Hwy.

Like you, I’m a mom! I have 3 children myself, and I can relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding the best child care program for your little one. At our daycare, we treat all kids as if they were our own. Our mission is to help families in the area by providing nurturing care and quality early education. I have been in the child care business for 18 years, and I run my program with my assistant, who is also a mom of 2. We’re both CPR & First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your child is in good hands. In addition to my credentials, I also hold a Child Development Associate's Degree.

Rolling Green Schoolhouse is a bilingual Spanish child care and preschool program. We teach our young students the Spanish language in addition to English, which is a great opportunity for your child to learn a second language at a young age. Our students enjoy our Play-based learning program where they learn through play and educational activities such as cooking, music, gardening, and much more! We take pride in providing a top-notch preschool curriculum. Your child will benefit from engaging lessons on numbers, shapes, colors, and small sight words, ensuring they are well-prepared for school. When children leave our program, they not only have a solid foundation in these concepts but also a strong sense of kindness and respect towards their peers.

We’re open throughout the year from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Our program can accommodate full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 6 weeks and 5 years old. If weather permits, we go outside at our private playground where we spend our outdoor playtime. I participate in the USDA program, and all kids attending our program are provided with nutritious lunch and snacks (included in the tuition). We also accept school-age children, up to 10 years old, since we offer before and after school care (we are near Saratoga Elementary School).

Our space at Rolling Green Schoolhouse is bright and colorful, with beautiful wall decor. Organized shelves are stocked with small toys, sensory sets, and larger activity sets tailored for both infants and toddlers. Each child has their dedicated walker and a set of toys appropriate for their developmental stage.

We take your child's well-being seriously. Our COVID procedures include monitoring temperatures in case a child exhibits a runny nose or a persistent cough. We prioritize frequent handwashing and thorough sanitization of toys at the end of each day to ensure a clean and safe environment for all children.
