Our program director, Lisa N. Cappleman brings over 30 years experience in infant and toddler care. She holds a B.A. in Child Development from California State University at Northridge and started in childcare at this location in the St. Paul's Sunday daycare program. Seeing a need for quality daycare motivated her to make infant and toddler care her life's work. Lisa believes it's of critical importance for infants and toddlers to feel safe and be given age-appropriate learning stimulation, in order to grow into healthy, confident individuals.
She has been the director of Lisa's Infant Toddler Experience since its inception, in 1984, and is respected within the Tarzana community as an early childhood educator and daycare provider. She selects all staff for the daycare center and oversees the program as well as maintaining a daily presence in the center, interacting with infants, toddlers and their parents.
