Hillcrest Nursery School, Thousand Oaks

Our preschool program is ACSI accredited and focuses on molding children spiritually, academically, and developmentally, thus meeting the needs of the whole child. Preschoolers enjoy an array of academic studies including Bible, pre-reading and reading skills, writing skills, and mathematics fundamentals. Enriching activities such as Spanish, sign language, and iPads, as well as music and movement and arts and crafts are also key to the program’s success. Preschoolers attend either a full day or 1/2-day program, with seasonal and study-related field trips experienced at least once a semester. We feature a spacious playground area dedicated to the preschool and kindergarten population with equipment that helps develop a variety of gross motor skills. In addition, academic and developmental learning centers are implemented on the playground bi-weekly. We continue to update by adding new and exciting things for the children to explore. We also offer an extended childcare program both before and after school. We encourage and welcome parents to be involved in all aspects of our program.
