BASIS Independent McLean is an age 2–grade 12 private school in Fairfax County. The Early Learning Program (Toddler, PreK, and Kindergarten) provides young learners with the best possible start to their education in a supportive environment that empowers their natural curiosity through opportunities to ask questions, make discoveries, and create. The Early Learning curriculum is designed to set the stage for success throughout a student’s entire academic journey, featuring course blocks in Language & Literacy, World Discovery, Mandarin, Math, STEM, Art, Music, and more, all led by nurturing teachers with subject-specific expertise. We offer full time care, private kindergarten, before- and after-school care for children up to 13 years old.
