It is the philosophy of the school to provide an early childhood education that will encourage social relationships and emotional development as well as physical and intellectual growth. We offer an opportunity for learning, sharing, playing and growing in an atmosphere of security. As educators, we see our responsibility to develop the “whole” child through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
The school staff consists of the Director, Nursery School Teachers, and Care givers. All teachers are certified and experienced in the field of early childhood development.
We believe that parents, teachers, and care givers must have a rapport that is vital and ongoing. We have an open door policy and encourage parents to share their concerns, interest, and suggestions on a daily basis. Parent teacher conferences are scheduled throughout the school year, as well as other informative programs. Parents are asked to participate in any fund raisers and assist with special programs and community projects as time and talent permit.
The daily activities of the children are guided by a curriculum emphasizing individuality and interaction. This curriculum is planned and coordinated by the Directors and the Teachers. The various materials that comprise each module are derived from many sources and have been combined to create a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
