Israel Baptist Church CDC

The Israel Child Development Center (ICDC) opened its doors in September 1998 offering a program designed to foster the total social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of preschool and school- age children. At the request of Israel Baptist Church, IMI assumed responsibility for the Child Development Center at Israel Baptist Church in January 2008. Operation of our NAEYC Accredited ICDC is the day-to-day work of the Center Director, Ms. Wanda Holmes, a credentialed educator and administrator. The Center provides a safe, nurturing environment and employs staff trained and certified in early child care subsidy program operated by the Government of the District of Columbia. Ninety five percent (95%) of the Center’s children are subsidized by the District of Columbia government.
