Choosing the right pre-school is one of the many tough decisions one faces as a parent and we couldn't have been happier with Montessori School of Herndon. Our older one just finished Kindergarten at MSH and is thriving in Public school. Our little one can't wait to go to school every day. The teachers are very warm and caring, just what little preschoolers need. I can rest assured knowing that my children are in a positive learning environment which makes them better learners. They come home happy and enriched with information. Right from their social skills to their academic skills, MSH teachers are always working with the kiddos. Our relationship with MSH began in 2011 and I can't think of one single incident that has concerned me as a parent. The atmosphere radiates love, warmth, confidence and happiness. I would give it a 7 star rating if I could :)

This little box doesn't have enough space for me to truly write down my feelings for MSH. Both my boys have had the privilege of being nurtured and formed at MSH and the base education that they take with them to their current public school (and everywhere else they go) will help them immensely in doing great things in life.
What is unique about MSH is that though their materials and methods are purely Montessori, they tweek them on and off to make activities look, sound and feel fascinating even after they have been repeatedly given to the child.
MSH teachers are passionate about their work and their students and they wear their students accomplishments as a badge of pride and achievement.
When I had to make the move from MSH to a public school, I was more nervous as my safety net was being taken away from me because once you drop your child off to MSH, rest assured they are in completely safe hands and you are stress free for the day.
I cannot thank MSH enough for their hard work, time, patience, attention, care, concern and love towards my sons, me and more so, the passion they have for Education and making a difference.

My son started at MSH when he was 3 years old and stayed on till Kindergarten. In the 3 years he was at MSH, he blossomed from a preschooler to a responsible, mature 5 year old! He loved his school, learnt a lot and made a lot of friends. I have to say that his Kindergarten year was the best and the variety of things he learnt in math, geography, reading skills, music was amazing. The teachers are very involved and know the kids well. Mrs. Shabhana is an excellent teacher and is very perceptive on how the child thinks and behaves. Would highly recommend this school to every parent!

My two children and a grandchild attended The Montessori School of Herndon. All three children got an excellent education. Their teachers help them build a very strong academic foundation, great self-esteem and a wonderful attitude toward the process of meeting challenges and solving problems. We loved the diversity in this school, it helped our children become global citizens. The Montessori school of Herndon has the lowest teacher turnover, they still have our son's (32 years old) teachers teaching at the Montessori School of Herndon.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my sons experience of Herndon Montessori. We have never worked with staff that love their jobs more than the staff at Herndon Montessori. There is a genuine affection for the children and a clear commitment to the Montessori curriculum. My child grew so much socially and academically while at Herndon Montessori. By the time he started kindergarten he was reading and understood various math concepts. He learned about geography and science and was consistently excited about what he was learning. My older children had been to other preschools, and this school by far was hands-down the best experience. I would recommend this school and staff to anyone.
