Welcome to our Spanish immersion family child care program in Springfield, VA! I’ve been running my own home daycare for over 15 years and before that, I was also a teacher in elementary school. I have my first-aid and CPR certification and I love caring for children! This is a Spanish immersion program with little to no English spoken, so it’s a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual!
My daycare is open between 7:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. If needed, I could accommodate a later pick-up until 6pm (with a small additional fee). I run the daycare with my assistant and we provide full-time and part-time daycare for infants as young as 8 weeks up to 5 years old. We provide lunch and snacks to the children in our care (included in the tuition).

My two boys have been going to this daycare for the last three years. We absolutely love it there and recommend it to anybody who’s interested in a quality, loving, Spanish immersion environment. My boys love going to daycare and they have learned so much. The owner works one on one with the kids in her daycare to teach new skills but there’s also lots of time for play, art and music. The facilities at this daycare are extremely clean and my boys rarely got sick.

All 3 of our children attended this Family Daycare. The environment was clean, bright and cheerful! My children never got sick. We were treated like family! We love her and family!

It’s very nice and clean facilities, very kind teachers and my son likes it there. They speak mostly Spanish but I like that my son is exposed to different languages on top of the other two we speak at home. I highly recommend it especially for younger babies!

Prior to choosing this family child care, I had toured and met various home daycare providers, and though many were impressive, none came to give me the comfort that this provider did when I sat down with her and toured her home. My daughter has now been at this daycare for 2 years and the speed at which she's developed conversationally in English and Spanish, and her manners, and overall knowledge has exceeded our expectations. This provider is family and she cares about all the children at her daycare. We are so happy to have this provider and her team watch our princess and highly recommend parents placing their children in her care.

My son has been at this provider since he was 12 weeks old. He's just over two now and we've been so happy with his care. These providers have always gone above and beyond to take care of our little guy - listening to us and making us feel confident that he's in excellent hands. Sometimes when I come to pick him up, he doesn't even want to leave. He comes home with cute crafts, always finishes his milk and snacks, and has been really good with other children outside of daycare. I feel like he's learning good social skills. I highly recommend this provider.

I would give this daycare a 5 stars! They've been in daycare business for almost a decade. Our 18-month old daughter Adeline loves her daycare. We like it there coz she treats us like family. She takes really good care of her since she was 12 months. I like it that when I arrive in daycare, I get this warm welcome. She opens the door as soon as I am closeby. She helps me carry her in and I handed her the carseat then she takescare everything from there. About the place, this house is very cozy. It's an in-home daycare where the children are free to roam around. They have a section where the kids do their fun-activities, a separate room for nap time and a big backyard to play outdoors. This provider and her staff are very loving, attentive and caring. They are truly a blessing to our family!

This daycare is great. My daughter has been there for over a year and she loves it. She speaks a good amout of spanish now and they take great care of her. We have another on the way and hope that he will go there as well.

Their team did a great job for our kids until age 3. Lots of care, solid values, and good advice. My son still talks about the friendships he made there.

We absolutely adore the care our daughters receive! Our girls are happy to go to "school" each day, and they love practicing the Spanish vocabulary they learn with us and our extended family.
As an educator, I love the fun, engaging learning activities they do. The children practice phonics, mathematics, music, movement, art, and creative play. Our oldest daughter is 3, and she is already reading decodable books by recognizing sight words and sounding out simple words. Our younger daughter can count into the teen numbers in English and Spanish and she's only 2 years old!
The staff is loving and supportive, and they work with us to develop both academics and character traits like caring, trustworthiness, and fairness in our kids.
We love "Mama R." and her staff, and we highly recommend this daycare!

This is a cozy in-home daycare with lots of love. My child was here from 11 weeks until age 4, when it was clear she needed structures preschool before going to kindergarten. This daycare was lovely and nurturing and we have fond memories of our time with her. My daughter still refers to her as Mommy R. Recommend!
