Our long legacy begins when Margaret Mercer purchased Belmont Plantation in 1836 and began a school for girls. Soon, she added a chapel on our present site and dedicated herself to providing classes for the surrounding community. In Spring 2002, our parish revived this legacy by welcoming our first preschool classes.
