I’m the owner and lead teacher of this family child care and preschool program in Burke and I have been providing child care for almost 20 years! I’m also a mother of 2 and I hold a Child Development Associates Degree.
My family child care and preschool program is a bilingual Spanish daycare. The curriculum is English-based, but I speak and teach Spanish to my little students. At our home daycare and preschool, we strive to provide not only safe and affordable child care, but also quality early childhood education.
We use the 4 following curriculums, borrowing elements from each one, depending on the age and developmental stage of my students: Mother Goose Curriculum, Carson-Dellosa Curriculum (for children 18 months and over), Abeka Curriculum (Christian-based curriculum; however, we are not a religious child care program), and High Reach Learning Curriculum (for preschoolers).
My daycare is open between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. We provide full-time and part-time daycare for infants as young as 2 weeks and for children up to 5 years old. We run a preschool program and curriculum for older children. We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks for the children in our care, and we’re a peanut-free as well as treenut-free daycare (we’re part of the USDA Food Program).
I can also offer before and after school programs for children up to 12 years old. There is a bus stop near my daycare Kings Park Elementary School (I can meet your child at the bust stop). My daycare is located off Guinea Rd (near Lake Royal and Greenfield Park), with easy access to both Braddock Rd (route 620) and Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286).
