The Clara Barton Center for children provides quality educational and childcare programs for children ages 2 to 5. Clara Barton provides a warm, friendly, and supportive environment where children can grow and develop at their own pace. Our goals are to nurture self-esteem, foster social, cognitive, and physical development, and lay the groundwork for a life-long love of learning.
The Clara Baron Center for Children is a private, non-profit organization, which has served families in our area since 1975. Governed by a Board of Directors composed of parents, there is a strong tradition of parent participation at Clara Barton. Children are admitted regardless of race, religion, ethnic background, or gender, and we encourage diversity among our student body and staff.
The Clara Barton Center for Children has been accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) since the spring of 2010 for fully meeting the standards of quality as outlined in the MSDE Standards for Implementing Quality Early Childhood Programs.
