Welcome to Heritage Crossing Kiddie Corner, my intimate home daycare in Centreville, VA. My child care facility is nestled in the Heritage Crossing community, near the Ellanor C. Lawrence Park. My home is very conveniently located for your commute to work since were just a minute away from the I-66, route 29 (Lee Hwy), route 620 (Braddock Rd), and route 28 (Sully Rd / Centreville Rd). The closest school is London Towne Elementary School.
About Me
Hi, parents! I'm the owner and main caregiver of this licensed family child care program. I have had my daycare for 20 years so I have plenty of experience. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for young children. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and our home is smoke-free and pet-free. I run a small family child care program with a maximum of 4 children, so your little one will get a lot of individualized attention.
Before re-opening my facility after COVID-19, I made sure that my daycare was a safe environment for kids. Everything was deep-cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected: all areas of my facility, both indoor and outdoor. We will continue to follow the safety protocols regarding handwashing and sanitizing to keep children and staff safe.
My Daycare
Heritage Crossing Kiddie Corner is a small, family-oriented program. I offer part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 0 and 5 years old from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm on the following days only: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you need extended hours, that can be provided for an additional fee (standard tuition covers 9 hours of care per day). Weekend care is available from 6:30am-5:30pm (please inquire about weekend child care rates).
Lunch is provided to the children in my care along with morning and afternoon snacks. If your child stays late, I also offer dinner (all meals are peanut and tree-nut free to avoid possible allergies). I speak fluent Urdu and Punjabi and can teach your child these foreign languages in addition to English (upon parents request, I can offer a bilingual Urdu environment.)

When I went for a tour at this daycare, my son immediately smiled when she held him. He is full of smiles every day ever since for the last 9 months. All the kids there are always happy at the beginning and end the day. She truly cares for all the kids.

My daughter goes to her daycare and she just loves her caregiver. She treats the kids like her family. Whenever I have my daughter stay at her daycare, I have my peace of mind that she will be well taken cared of.

Everyday I could drop off my children knowing they would be safe, healthy, and in a loving and nurturing environment. I could focus fully at work thanks to this provider's compassion and professionalism.

Overall we had a solid experience.
This provider was always very friendly and accommodating, our daughter loved her cooking!
We did not stay long enough (due to moving) to be able to provide detailed feedback regarding the curriculum.
It is an in-home daycare, therefore, the safety measures could be improved somewhat (the door was not locked at times, different people in the house that were not previously introduced, etc.)

This daycare is absolutely wonderful and has become like a second family to us. She's very flexible with my crazy work schedule and my daughter really enjoys being there. She's been going since she was almost 8 months and I've seen so much development in everything that she's doing. She's trying new foods, making new friends, and is expressing herself in so many ways. My son is 10 months old and has been going to this daycare since he was 6 months. In this short time, we have come to love them! They keep the daycare small so that they can provide great care to each child. My kids came to this provider at a very early age she has helped my colicky daughter and my fuzzy son learn to eat and enjoy eating over the years she's become more than a babysitter she became their grandmother. I have tried several different daycares before her, she actually took a personal interest in my kids help them learn value of life and a lot of bad decisions
